Sauna Palembang is a sauna builder Palembang households, sports clubs and hotel operators can brief in English. A 6-9 kW heater wants 7,700-11,000 VA with its own breaker and an ELCB, wired in heat-resistant SiHF rather than ordinary building cable. The PLN upgrade is paid by the owner; we help with the application.
Lining panel, 50 mm rockwool, aluminium foil as the vapour barrier, a 20 mm ventilation cavity, then cedar. Leave out the foil or the cavity and a cabin in this city grows mould inside two to three years.
Western red cedar, Scandinavian spruce or thermowood for the interior, aspen or abachi for benches that stay kind to bare skin. Ulin and bengkirai are for outdoor decking only.
A guard around the heater, 8 mm tempered glass, separate supply and extract vents, and a heat test carried out with the owner before the keys change hands.

Frequently asked questions
Is a sauna sensible in a city this hot?
It is a fair question, and the answer is contrast. Air-conditioned days leave most people barely sweating; twenty minutes at 80 degrees followed by an ice bath at eight to fifteen degrees restores that. During the June to September haze, when outdoor exercise stops, it becomes the whole routine rather than an addition to it.
What does a sauna room cost in Palembang?
A custom 2x2 m room for four is an indicative IDR 60-120 million, an economy build in mixed materials starts at IDR 40 million, a prefab cabin for two runs IDR 15-35 million installed and an infrared cabin IDR 30-70 million. A timber tub with a half to one horsepower chiller holding eight to fifteen degrees, filtration with ozone or ultraviolet, a drain and a floor that falls to it. Sized for the number of athletes cycling through rather than for the volume of water, indicative IDR 45-90 million.
