Why does an infrared sauna suit Palembang's older houses?

Because it sidesteps the one obstacle those houses cannot easily clear. A colonial-era house in Talang Semut or an older street in Ilir Timur is typically connected at 2,200 to 4,400 VA, and raising that often means rewiring a property whose distribution board was installed decades ago. A cabin drawing 1.7-2.4 kW simply does not ask the question.

Size helps too. A 1x1 m cabin fits a landing, a dressing room or the corner of a bedroom, and it arrives as panels that pass through a narrow doorway, which matters in streets where a lorry stops at the corner and everything else is carried. Nothing is chased into a wall and nothing is fixed to a floor that may be original. Haze season: what an infrared sauna is actually used for

Where the household wants both the ritual and the heat, we recommend a dry sauna room instead and treat infrared as the fallback rather than the goal.

Power, panels and installation in one to two days

An infrared sauna draws 1.7-2.4 kW through its carbon panels, comfortably inside a 2,200-3,500 VA connection with the air conditioning still running, so there is no PLN application and no upgrade fee to budget for. We still give the cabin a dedicated circuit, a breaker and an ELCB, and we check the existing consumer unit first, because older houses in this city frequently have circuits never meant to carry a continuous load.

Installation runs one to two days. Panels arrive finished from Ilir Barat I, the cabin is assembled, wired and commissioned, and you use it the same evening. Running cost is an indicative IDR 100,000-250,000 a month at one or two sessions a day, the lowest of anything we build; converting an old cabin to infrared panels sits at IDR 15-50 million.
